The dialogue was initiated by the Bahay to evaluate what was accomplished so far to enable more effective planning for the future in partnership with the community, particularly the schools of the University Belt. The dialogue was led by Dr. Fernando N. Zialcita (PhD), Chairman of the Bahay Nakpil-Bautista Foundation.

The Bahay would like to be better known to the school community, and to know better the school community of the city. The house through its programs and events can benefit the students and faculty, in the same way their visits will benefit the house.

The Saturday Dialogue program was as follow– 1) Pagbabasbas sa Apat na Direksyon, 2) Pagpapakilala sa Bahay Nakpil-Bautista, 3) Ang Bahay Nakpil-Bautista sa Susunod na Panahon, 4) Pagdiwang ng Kulturang Pilipina: Baybayin, Pintig at Sayaw, 4) Usap-usapan at Salo-salo.

The Usap-usapan yielded practicable suggestions to issues—use of interactive media to relate the story of Gregoria de Jesus, the history of the house, and the role it can play as a centerpoint for understanding Filipino culture; use of social media to promote the house; and holding of seminars related to heritage and history by the universities.
