  1. Hello Jenea. I understand you are the grerat grandaughter of Lola Teta. She is the sister of my paternal grandmother, Virginia Sancho West. My father, Richard Sancho West, used to take us to the Nakpil ancestral home during Christmas when my brothers and I were very young. I am quite impressed with this website. I also was thrilled to see Lola Teta’s picture on this site. Incidentally, your great grandfather, Ramon Nakpil was my parents’ “padrino” at their wedding in 1947. Also, I am trying to tract down a Luis Nakpil, supposedly a grandson of Lola Teta. He was in touch with my older brother, Louie West, via email for a good number of years. Luis probably never knew why my brother Louie stopped communicating with him. Please inform Luis that Louie died suddenly in July of 2011 from a massive heart attack. Sincerely, Medy West

  2. Hi Medy, not to be rude by interrupting, but as i am currently tracking who my great grandfather is, I am quite sure that the Luis Nakpil you were talking about happens to be your uncle. Since he is a son of Carmen Guerrero-Nakpil and Angel Nakpil, as Angel is Virginia’s brother, who happens to be your grandmom. 🙂
