Bahay Nakpil-Bautista Receives Support

The Bahay Nakpil-Bautista was declared a National Historical Landmark by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) on August 25, 2011. On 2014, the Bahay will reach its 100th year.

Bahay Nakpil-Bautista Through the Years

Bahay Nakpil-Bautista has remained essentially unchanged for 95 years after it was rebuilt by Dr. Ariston Bautista in 1914. Prior to that, the Nakpils were already living in two houses on the same property Barbosa St. (now called A. Bautista St.).
