Strolling Through Old Manila’s Grandeur
Manila in 9000 Steps
(photo credit: Celine Mallari / Grid Magazine reposted by permission)
Celine Mallari, a member of the Nakpil clan, wrote an article about her experience walking through and working in Old Manila. Celine is an artist, designer, photographer, and writer with a degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising. Her article gives a new perspective on one of the oldest places in the city.
Coincidentally, the HUB:Make Lab in the First United Building on Escolta where Celine worked these past few years was as where my grandfather, the late Pinggoy Nakpil, worked back in the late 60’s.
